Join us for our exciting kid's science day camps. Our camps are designed to instill an enthusiasm and appreciation for wildlife and nature. Each day of camp is based on an exciting topic with activities specifically designed for ages 6-12. Kids will have an opportunity to explore wildlife and their habitats through education programs, games, crafts and apply what they have learned during an animal encounter. Frequently Asked Questions: How do I register? Fill out a registration form and email it to bookings@bczoo.org My child attended camps last year will the themes be the same? No, each year new programs are planned by qualified staff. Can I register my child for more than one day? Yes, you can register your child for one day or several or join us for a full week. What are the hours of camp? Camp runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm. What happens if there is bad weather? We ask that children bring appropriate clothing for the weather (rain gear, warmer clothing) as activities will still be carried out rain or shine! What if I am unable to pick my child up can I send someone in my place? If this is the case, please notify us ahead of time and we ask parents to record this on their registration form. Is a lunch or snack provided? Two healthy snacks are provided, however lunch is not. We ask that parents pack a lunch for their children. If your child has any allergies please note these on the camp registration form. What does my child need for camp? A bagged lunch and clothing that is appropriate for the weather [sun screen, bathing suit, towel and a change of clothing for Summer camps].
All aboard the 'Wildlife Express'! With over a kilometre of track and fees of only $0.50 for children and $1.00 for adults, the Wildlife Express is the best value miniature train ride in Canada! Featuring a replica of the C.P. Huntington steam locomotive with three covered coaches, speaker system and authentic sounding whistle and bell, you will enjoy your ride through the Park grounds lined by Ponderosa Pine and sagebrush cloaked hillsides.

The Zippity Zoo Zone Playground Open from spring thaw until freeze-up every year (approx. early April through to end November) Children are encouraged to roar around in the Zippity Zoo Zone Playground. Featuring the Eagles Aerie, Badgers Burrows and Giant Spiders Web, this playground incorporates a bit of wildlife habitat into your child's play while at the Park. Splash Park Kids and adults alike can cool down in the Splash Park. Mid May to Labour Day from 10:00am to a half hour before closing (weather permitting).
The New Home Hardware Corral is now home to all of our farm animals! Kids can get up close to our llamas, pygmy goats, miniature donkeys, guinea pigs and rabbits.
