Join us for our exciting kid's science day camps. Our camps are designed to instill an enthusiasm and appreciation for wildlife and nature. Each day of camp is based on an exciting topic with activities specifically designed for ages 6-12. Kids will have an opportunity to explore wildlife and their habitats through education programs, games, crafts and apply what they have learned during an animal encounter. What you need to know
TIME: 9:00am to 4:00pm AGES: 6 to 12 COST: Season's pass-holders $40/day Non-pass-holders $45/day DISCOUNTS: $5.00 per day discount available for registrations and payment received at least 14 days in advance of the camp and for Park pass-holders (Please note: Only one discount is available per participant) AGENDA: Education Program Craft Activity 2 snacks Visit to Zippity Zoo Playground, Splash Park or Miniature Train
Frequently Asked Questions: How do I register? Fill out a registration form and email it to bookings@bczoo.org My child attended camps last year will the themes be the same? No, each year new programs are planned by qualified staff. Can I register my child for more than one day? Yes, you can register your child for one day or several or join us for a full week. What are the hours of camp? Camp runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Is there a discount if we are members? Yes, members save $5 per day (Please note: Only one discount is available per participant). What happens if there is bad weather? We ask that children bring appropriate clothing for the weather (rain gear, warmer clothing) as activities will still be carried out rain or shine! What if I am unable to pick my child up can I send someone in my place? If this is the case, please notify us ahead of time and we ask parents to record this on their registration form. Is lunch or snacks provided? Two healthy snacks are provided, however we do ask that parents pack a lunch for their children. If your child has any allergies please note these on the camp registration form. What does my child need for camp? Children should have a bagged lunch and clothing that is appropriate for the weather, Sun Screen, bathing suit and a change of clothing.
