The BC Wildlife Park is on the Trans Canada Highway, 15 minutes east of Kamloops city centre.

Coming From the West You are on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1), or Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5), traveling east towards Banff then follow the Trans Canada Highway past Kamloops (approx. 15 minutes) , and take exit 390, and then turn right on Dallas Drive to the BC Wildlife Park. Coming From the East You are on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway #1) traveling west towards Kamloops then take exit 391, located 15 minutes drive from the Kamloops City Centre turn left on to the overpass and then turn right on Dallas Drive to the BC Wildlife Park. Coming From the North You are on the Yellowhead Highway travelling south from Jasper, Valemount, or Clearwater, then follow the exit signs to Highway 1 east bound from Highway 5. Turn onto Hwy #1 and travel east towards Banff (approx. 15 minutes), take exit 390, and then turn right on Dallas Drive to the BC Wildlife Park. Coming From the South You are on highway 97 from Vernon and will be traveling down Monte Creek hill. Turn westwards towards Kamloops at the bottom, and travel approximately 10km. Take exit 391, turn left on to the overpass and then turn right on Dallas Drive to the BC Wildlife Park.
Of course we encourage you to use public transportation to travel to the Park. This is a great way to enjoy the scenery of the South Thompson River Valley while letting someone else take care of the driving! And it is a great way to reduce greenhouse gasses.
