At the Park Education Programs

Program Fees:

September, 2007 - February, 2008: $5.00 per student, minimum charge of $80.00
March, 2008 - June, 2008: $6.00 per student, minimum charge of $100.00

Please Note: Annual passes do NOT apply for entry into education programs. All rates are subject to GST. Rates are subject to change without notices.

Student/Teacher/Supervisor Ratio:

Pre-school/Daycare/Kindergarten: 1 Supervisor to 3 students
Primary (grades 1-3): 1 Supervisor to 3 students
Intermediate (grades 4-7): 1 Supervisor to 5 students
Junior & Senior (grades 9-12): 1 Supervisor to 10 students

Maximum Class Size:

Pre-school/Daycare/Kindergarten: 22
Primary (grades 1-3): 25
Intermediate (grades 4-7): 30
Junior & Senior (grades 9-12): 36

Additional pre-paid adults and pre-paid children are at a discounted rate plus GST and due to space limitations not allowed in the classroom. Additional adults and children who visit the park with your program are subject to regular admission rates. They are welcome to enjoy the Park but are not allowed in our Education classrooms.

Booking:

Programs are booked on a first-come first-serve basis. Please email Education Program Registration Form to bookings@bczoo.org. Emailing the registration form then places your class in the queue based on time & date information is received.

To finalize the booking process payment in full must be received at the BC Wildlife Park at least 14 days in advance of your program. Failure to pay in full will result in loss of space.
Programs are heavily subsidized by the Kamloops Wildlife Park Society therefore we are unable to refund for cancellations once payment is received.
